Oaks horses put in a fantastic showing at the recent Tamworth World Cup Show.
Robert Goodwin and Oaks Costa Rica were first in the Open 130-1.35 on Thursday with Jess Brown and Oaks Cryptic third in the same class. In the very next class, the Open 1.40, Sam Overton and Oaks Cassanova took the win with Clem Smith and Oaks Conjuror coming in a close second.
Also on the Thursday, Jaycie Trace and Oaks Kingfisher came third in the 1.10m on Arena 2.
On Friday, Sienna Holdsworth-Rose and Oaks Kestrel were third in the first Young Rider Qualifier, Robert Goodwin and Oaks Cardinal were second in the Bronze Tour Second Qualifier and Brad Frankum and Oaks Calypso were second in the World Cup Warm Up.
Saturday was a big day for Oaks horses with Sienna Holdsworth-Rose and Oaks Kestrel going one better than the previous day to finish second in the second Young Rider Qualifier.
This was soon followed by JPR and Oaks Evergreen TS finishing second in the second Silver Tour Qualifier and Clint Beresford and Oaks Chingo taking out the Futurity.
The big class on the Saturday evening was the World Cup Qualifier which saw four Oaks horses in the top ten, Sam Overton and Oaks Cassanova in second, Clem Smith and Oaks Conjuror in seventh, Brad Frankum and Oaks Calypso in ninth and Robert Goodwin and Oaks Costa Rica in equal 10th.
A great showing all around.
