We have two professional coaches based at Oaks Hills offering rider training for all levels of riders. Our indoor arena and a huge outdoor woodchip arena allow lessons in all weather.
Alison (Doog) Rowland - Level 1 NCAS Coach
Alison has spent several seasons in Europe competing and producing horses and working with high profile European coaches. She has represented Australia at World Cup final and Nations Cups. Alison was Equestrian WA coach of the year in 2012, and Equestrain Australia coach of the year in 2013.
Alsion uses very sound basics to make learning easy and adapts her coaching to suit each individual student and horse. From 4 star eventers and World Cup showjumping riders, to juniors, young riders, and amateurs at all levels, she teaches her students the importance of mental strength, the ability to bounce back from downfalls, and the power of positive thinking. Alison always aspires to see her students perform at their personal best.

Monique Barrett - Level 1 NCAS Coach
Monique moved back to Australia in 2017 after being based in Germany where she was working along side the best riders and grooms in the world including supporting Jamie Kermond in his Rio Olympics campaign. She also worked in a dealing yard preparing young horses for sale. In Australia Monique has won numerous Junior and Young Rider titles and competes at an elite level.
The experience she has gained in her career in horsemanship, management and training techniques, will help anyone who has the passion and dedication to improve in their sport. Monique has an excellent rapport with junior riders.
